Last Mile Capital is a specialist asset finance business serving manufacturers, dealers, and operators across seven UK verticals. We are a small senior team based in London. We originate and structure asset finance facilities for UK businesses and work with funder partners to fund those facilities. Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF (Companies House number 16461576). Last Mile Capital provides finance facilities to limited companies, partnerships, and other commercial borrowers; we are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and do not provide consumer credit.
Our commitment
We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in our own business or in our supply chain. We expect the same of our funder partners, customers, and professional advisers. While our turnover sits below the statutory threshold for a published Modern Slavery Statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we publish this statement voluntarily because the principle matters more than the threshold.
Risk in our operations
Our operational footprint is small and office-based. We do not manufacture goods, operate fleets, or employ frontline staff in high-risk environments. The principal risk we engage with is the risk in customer and supplier supply chains, which we assess as part of our credit and onboarding diligence.
What we do
- We carry out customer due diligence under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017, including identification of beneficial owners and screening against the UK Sanctions List published by OFSI.
- We expect our customers to comply with applicable employment, health and safety, and immigration law.
- We will refuse to fund any transaction where we have credible reason to believe modern slavery or human trafficking is involved.
